Our build-a-boat program is a perfect way to sail your group toward a more compatible team. Using all recyclable materials such as cardboard, rope, and PVC, teams will brainstorm seaworthy concepts and create a blueprint for their vessel. Then they will name it and create a graphic and tagline. Then they coordinate a seaworthy construction, finally bringing it to the edge of the sea (or local pool) for launch. It ends with a splash as teams race the length of the pool to see who can finish first, and avoid sinking. It’s a sea of laughs and fun.
Teams split to build and customize boats out of the materials provided. Sometimes it's a lot of materials, sometimes it's just a few.
