Fall is here. October days are filled with falling leaves, chilling weather, and growing anticipation for the holiday season. These are different October Team Building Activities to celebrate the month.

October 1 - International Coffee Day

Whether you favour espresso, americanos, lattes, or cappuccinos; iced, decaf, instant, or filter – Coffee Day is the day to savor and appreciate your beverage. Make the perfect coffee with our Coffee Masterclass

This class will give you the opportunity to slow down and really appreciate the components that make up a great cup of coffee.  We tend to rush through our lives, clinging to our caffeine fixes out of necessity. Through this Masterclass, we would like to change your coffee-drinking experience to an enjoyable one full of pleasure.

October 4 -Taco Day

Here at Teamland, we want to honor tacos. And what better way to do that than to make tacos, and explore Mexican cuisine? And a margarita couldn’t hurt! Gather your team and celebrate with a taco-making party. Teamland offers a virtual cooking class that will guide you through the tips and tricks on making the most mouth-watering treats.

October 6 - Canadian Beer Day

Today 5 o’clock happy hour is extra special as you crack a cold one to celebrate beer! Join Teamland for a virtual beer tasting with your team to really learn and understand what goes into making this great brew. 

October 9 - Moldy Cheese Day

Prepare yourself for some spectacular gastronomic delights when you celebrate Moldy Cheese Day. Moldy Cheese Day is a chance to take Stilton sandwiches to work, make cheese-on-toast with tasty Gorgonzola, or create a lovely charcuterie board. Choose Teamland’s Build your own cheese board virtual event to learn about the different kinds of moldy cheeses, charcuterie, and exotic pairings that make up the perfect combination to bring along to your picnic.

October 10 - World Mental Health Day

Making everyone in the world more aware of the issues that are faced by people struggling with mental health is a great way to offer the beginning of a solution to the problem. Join us here at Teamland with a virtual class on awaken to mindfulness where you will learn more about your mental health. As well as learning practices to keep yourself happy, healthy, supported, and engaged.

October 14 - Dessert Day

Today provides us with the perfect excuse to let our sweet tooth take over. We at Teamland are here to enable you to explore your wildest and sweetest dreams through our virtual baking class. Not only will you be eating some delicious treats but you will also be learning how to make them from scratch. Sounds yummy right? Come join us on this special day.

October 19 - International Gin & Tonic Day

If you are looking to celebrate this cocktail, Teamland offers a virtual Cocktail Making class for you to learn fun cocktail recipes with your coworkers. Our bartenders will lead you through a recipe step-by-step so that you can follow along and create the perfect at-home cocktail. You can choose from a customized experience where you learn to make what you want to drink or we can provide you with an array of classics. Non-alcoholic drinks are available and some kits are available for delivery. So, bottoms up! It’s time to get out there and celebrate International Gin and Tonic Day!

October 20 - International Chefs Day or Information Overload Day

International Chef Day has been designed so that we can all learn more about the important role of a chef. And what better way to learn more about chefs than to become one? Join us in our around-the-world cooking class where we will learn how to use local ingredients to make delicious food all around the world. After taking this class you might even feel inspired to change careers!

October 22 - Smart is Cool Day

If there is ever a time to show off your IQ test results or brag about your intelligence, Smart is Cool day is probably it. Join us in our Trivia Time game where teams will compete against each other to once and for all decide who is the smartest. Whichever team has the most points when time runs out will be named the winner! I don’t know about you but winning sounds pretty cool.

October 25 - World Pasta Day or International Artist Day

This day celebrates one of the world’s favorite and most versatile foods. One of the best ways to celebrate World Pasta Day is by preparing a favorite dish and enjoying the delicious flavors and textures that come along with that noodly goodness. Teamland offers a virtual cooking class that will guide you through preparing a delicious meal. Why not pair it with a glass of wine and make it a classy night with your team?

October 31 - Halloween/ Magic Day

One of the best holidays of the year could not go unnoticed. Teamland brings all the spookiness and scariness of Halloween into your work environment by offering frightening games such as Murder Mystery and Escape Room. There are even more Halloween Team Building Events you can explore here.
